Hua Hua is the visionary founder of Borderline and a renowned Shibari artist. Since pioneering the first public Shibari events in Shanghai in 2017, she has been an advocate for a healthier approach to Kink in China. Her journey took her global in 2022, bringing her unique perspective to audiences across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

With a philosophy that ropes are bridges between people and cultures, Hua Hua’s teaching style is holistic and adaptive, focusing on intention and connection. Her workshops are a slow, mindful exploration of Shibari, making each tie a personal journey. For the workshop it is best to wear something light and comfortable. Make sure that you wear clothes that fit. That makes it easier for you to tie.

It is pleasantly warm in our Playroom because of the floor heating. The focus during the workshop is on transferring information and ‘learning’ techniques. Please note, this is not an erotic workshop! The clothes stay on.
